Being a musician with the ability to distinguish between two  
dissimilar signs, I always read "#" as "hash". It was nice to see  
Microsoft so aptly describing its work. Imagine how screwed the world  
would be if we confused "8" with "B", "H" with "N", or "LI" with "U".
