[Tfug] Enough of the Politcal Crap

rock on 18th amendment! Whos with me? Anyone? Hello? Where did everyone go?
Anyways, It seems that more activity is garnered from these political posts
than actual *nix posts, unless someone talks about now Microsoft is trying
to sue *nix people (note the political undertones). A computer question (How
do I enable whatever feature on Beryl or whatever) really only has one
answer. Yeah, you can have different solutions to the same problem, but a
computer question gives people no opportunity to express themselves or share
their opinion, which is what people like doing. Therefore, why not let them
do BOTH? Ask away when you need advice or facts, and also show us why Bush
is a prime evil or the savior of mankind. Don't want to partake in such
blasphemous political topics? Other people HAVE posted a solution that is
akin to abstinence in it's approach. Push delete. Abstain from such topics.
People are generally good at labelling their posts as OT or otherwise, so
you wont be tricked into such discussions.

We spend so much money on these M-16s. Why is the Ak the worlds favorite
killing machine, having killed more people than any other weapon system? It
is cheap and it always works. Nobody can afford the M-16s. Amercica can
because the government is spending our money. Just imagine what would happen
if every American soldier got an AK? They cost about a fourth. of the price
of an M-16. Our special Forces (SEALs, anyone?) Routinely use them. Why?
They work. They also shoot a bullet that is 3 times larger (147 Gr. versus
55 Gr.) But then again, there is the symbolism associated with the AK.
Terrorists and drug dealers around the world have them. And America can't be
seen with such evil weapons. Al Quaeda uses Computers to post movies of them
decapitating people, so why not stop using computers because bad people use
them? But whatever.

Just my $.02 USD, which will inflate sharply when oil starts being traded in
Euros:)
