Sure.  But that just isn't this list, it is all email.

In the past the signal-to-noise ratio on the list has been good enough
that I have made it a point to read the posts:  I think it is polite.
Sometimes, I contribute, and sometimes I just lurk.  Sometimes I just
make useless posts, like this one.  Sometimes I try to argue when I
see people behaving in a way I think is dickish...

In any case, you are right:  I should probably just stop reading this crap.

Still, I find myself strangely unwilling to leave this list.  I have
been on it for a long time, and thought maybe your hippy
penis-stroking was less important than the central issue of this list
(and btw the reason I am subscribed)  (BTW, some of my best friends
are hippies.  They just don't make it a point to make it a point (if
you understand what I mean)).

I can see for you at least it is not.  Fair enough...  I can live with that.

Very nice by the way.  I am glad I now know your TV watching habits.
