[Tfug] anyone built a media server?

My laptop drive is bursting at the seams with music, so the time has come for me to move that to a media server.

Has anyone built one?

My parameters are:

* Linux, preferably Debian
* greater than 60G storage
* must sound good (laptop is pretty crap)
* needs a video card to hook up to my LCD TV
* blade server form factor would be nice (not much room)
* low power consumption
* quiet
* NIC or wireless to cavort with last.fm
* boots fast (I'm not going to leave it on 24/7)

Oh, and it must bring me a pony for Christmas every year.
