For desktop use, I find it more than stable enough. I have not
encountered any issues except a kernel panic after a
dist-upgrade. It was fairly trivial to resolve with help from the
list (thanks again guys!). I believe that issue would not have
happened if I were using Grub instead of Lilo.

I use it about 50 - 60 hours every week, and I am a very happy
customer! ;-)
