Odd, I would have thought replacing a component on a TV would be more
challenging than swapping ram, HD, miniPCI cards on a laptop.
Granted, the video and many other components are integrated on the MB
these days, but there are still lots of stuff easier to replace than
in a TV. My parents tell me I got in big trouble once when I took
apart the family TV and couldn't get it back together. I guess I was
too young to remember (but not too young to wield a screwdriver).
In any case, I thought the BOYB meetings were still more about
software trouble shooting and show-and-tell anyway. I know everyone
wants to see Chris Hill's fun with linux on his tablet.
