In Firefox:

Set:
1. type the URL "about:config"
2. right-mouse
3. select New -> String
4. general.useragent.override
5. "cheeky monkey"
6. check at http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

Reset:
1. go to "about:config"
2. find "general.useragent.override"
3. right-click
4. Reset
5. check at http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

The key remains but the value is reset.

That site also mentions changing it to:
	"Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.googlebot.com/bot.html)"
so you see what Google sees.
