[Tfug] [OT] Sun Resolution Problem

For the Sun people I know are lurking out there.  I've got an old
UltraSPARC 5 system with a Sun head running Solaris 7.  Every time it
reboots after a power cycle (like the one we just had) the screen comes
back in some odd resolution.  Everything is bigger on the screen than it
should be.  If I reboot, the problem goes away.  I've found nothing else
that works.  Any ideas at other fixes for this?  The system is getting old
enough that I don't like rebooting just for the fun of it.  All reboots are
bad surprises waiting to happen.  I use the Sun CDF for the GUI, but the
resolution issue also shows up when it's in single-user (no GUI) mode.

I know, replace the bugger.  I plan to, but can't afford to at the moment.
