Thanks for the warm reception.
At math department (U of A) we use Debian on servers and Ubuntu (as you
probably know Ubuntu is Debian derivative)on desktops. Everything works
perfectly but we have 5 system administrators so I guess if I was using at
home probably there would be the things that do not work well.
I have FreeBSD 6.2 and all my serious stuff works but I could use the help
with couple other things.
FreeBSD is my main Desktop OS. I used PC-BSD for about 2 weeks but I thought
I learned enough just to use FreeBSD ( I also like Gnome because I use
Ubuntu) so KDE on PC-BSD was a turn off.
I guess if I needed to set up system quickly PC-BSD would be the way to go.
