[Tfug] network issue

When trying to access my home network using konqueror & samba  
(smb://workgroup) all machines are seen and files are accessable ...  
except one.  The box is seen but clicking on it gives me a 'timeout on  
server' message within seconds.  It is not firewalled.  It can be accessed  
by other windows boxes on the network, just not from this Linux (Kubuntu)  
box.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.
