That it does. It's like nuking from orbit though - only way to be sure...

Alternatively, I suppose you could try something like ClamAV or AVG
Anti-Virus for Linux (new to me, but available at
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5)
Another idea - move your profile folder to somewhere else (/tmp/foo or
something like that). Move data back slowly (folder by folder), and start
Opera to see where the malware is located. A bit tedious, but another
option.
