[Tfug] Somewhat OT: php4 and odbc

It's a bit off-topic and a bit not...I'm trying to write a few php scripts
that need to connect to an odbc database.  I'm running a Debian (Sarge) box
with php4 and I've installed php4-odbc as well as all relevant updates for
php, but nothing seems to work.  I'm still getting the

Fatal error:  Call to undefined function:  odbc_connect() in
/var/www/testing/test_swipe.php on line 6

when I run the script.  Any ideas?
