[Tfug] Ubuntu and Digital Cameras

This Christmas Santa left a digital camera for my wife (Nikon L14), whom
I moved from XP to Ubuntu (Gutsy) a couple of months ago. Christmas
morning arrives and temporary panic sets in, wondering if the camera
will work with Ubuntu.

Today, I plugged the camera into the PC and was happy to see that gThumb
opened and a single click imported all the pictures. Not only that but
clicking on movies made them play without a hitch.

Now I've written a quick script tied to a gThumb hotkey so she can
resize images for email with just a single keypress. :))
