Is it my imagination, or are Ubuntu and Firefox becoming better and better substitutes for Windows and IE in that they are both getting slower and more bloated?
I'm still using Ubuntu on my Dell 1420, mostly because it works. Not really excited in general. It seems like my dual core and 2GB memory is about as responsive as my 64 bit Sun running Debian.
Still checking out the support for wireless in Debian. Probably a good idea to install Debian on a USB drive and see what it does.
