[Tfug] GNOME System Monitor not reporting all available memory

If nothing else, skim through your BIOS settings. There may be some odd
setting that affects your OS's ability to recognize the other gig. XP was
notorious for only seeing 2 gigs when people bought 4. The solution for that
was an XP hotfix and a BIOS flash update. So maybe you can update your
kernel, like Robert Hunter was alluding to. What motherboard do you have?
