[Tfug] Our website: Round two

HI,
     I'm the one that originated the "our website" post. I've been reading
all the e-mail that it has spawned. It shows symptoms of getting off topic
and going nowhere. The result? Our website remains in a shambles.

Soooo, I'll facilitate:
     I like William Stott, jon, and Chris Hill's ideas. Yes, there should be
Static areas and wiki areas.

     I know there are fancy websites with glitz and glitter, but that stuff
isn't appropriate for us.

     Wiki articles start from a "seed" topic. I confess, My knowledge of
webpages is HTML101.

     Let's take the first baby step and erase everything but the top
page and the e-mail listserv stuff. In otherwords, remove everything that
has become stale from the current website. Once this is done, we can talk
about the static areas, and then the wiki seed topics.

     Before I say anything else. Let's see where this post takes us.
