Just so you know, Al Gore never actually claimed to have created the internet.
That came from a smear campaign headed up by Carl Rove. So could you perhaps
say that Carl Rove has convinced many people to believe Al Gore is an 
idiot who
claims to have created the internet? That's an even scarier thought.
