[Tfug] Alan Cox's exploding laptop

They issued a recall on my Thinkpad power supply because of heat
problems.  This was in about 1998.  I never sent it in, and used it
for another 8 years with no problems.  I'd be willing to bet this was
some knockoff or tampered non-IBM battery.  IBM made good laptops,
when they were still making them...
