Yes,
I had only partial success with Gentoo & video. I may have
to "drop back and punt" using the 2006.1 install.
Tell me, does your machine have X11R7 now? A Pandora's
box of troubles opened up on me when Gentoo was in the
throes if migrating from X11R6 to X11R7.
