That's actually one of the things that's great about cable tv service.
I don't know anything about the satellite services but with cable
there are no contracts, so you can simply call them up and add or drop
packages/stations as frequently as you'd like. So, I add HBO when
Larry David comes on and drop it when the season's over. Similarly, I
add Showtime when Huff's on and drop it afterwards. It's quite quick
and painless and I pay only when I'll use it.
