[Tfug] why not cable?

My wireless connection is roughly half a mile away from someone that appears 
to be on cox, and I'm usually getting 40ms pings or less to google.com.  
Cable is flat out faster than DSL, in Tucson and anywhere else I've lived.  
I'm not sure about middle-of-nowhere america, though.

Just thought I'd bring the idea to the group and see if anyone should direct 
me otherwise...
