Well, lets compare, shall we?

$89.
1GB stock, expandable to 2GB via flash memory.
Runs on a single AAA battery that costs like $1 at Walgreens.
16 hours of play time.
FM radio
Voice recorder
Usable as a USB thumb drive
Platform-agnostic. No special dumbass iTunes'ish software/drivers
required (just shows up as a standard USB removable storage device you
can drag and drop MP3 files to freely.)
Supports MP3, WMA and WAV.
Solid, durable construction you can practically drop-kick around the
house and still use without a scratch.

Now, lets compare that to an iPod Nano.

$150. Thats nearly twice as much money.
1GB stock.... and NOT expandable!
Uses a proprietary Apple-only Li-Ion battery physically soldered to the
unit that only holds *14* hours of play time, and costs 60 fucking
dollars to replace.. Used to be $100 to replace! Apple is being sued by
customers over this, incidentally.
No FM tuner!
No voice recorder!
Not usable as a USB thumb drive -- requires a special driver provided by
Apple to access, and you cant drag/drop MP3s to it. You need to buy them
from Apple!
Requires a fucking *dock*!
Notoriously easy to scratch due to shitty construction, so much so that
people are suing Apple over this issue as well.

You claim to have done some research, yet you bought one anyway...... why?
