[Tfug] Xorg cpu utilization?

Thanks for the response, Ronald.

I picked xUbuntu because it was an easy way to install xfce4, which I
like. I originally tried setting up xfce manually on the base ubuntu
and it was turning out to be time-consuming (i forget why). Anyway,
something that runs ok on slower systems SHOULD run even better on a
faster system. It has to be something specific causing the problem.

I noticed that the utilization goes down somewhat if I minimize the
scrolling terminal window very small (5x5 chars). So, it definitely
seems like it's something related to the display or video.

I guess I'll try disabling the second display adapter and rebooting,
and seeing if that has any impact. If that works, then I guess I can
start trying alternate video cards for the dual head. Just need to
find the time to fit that in with my real work :-/

Thanks,
Chad
