Wire wrapping == means wrapping wire around the relays in old systems.
And what does it matter if he migrated over to COBOL? When you think about
it, when he says big iron, he's implying that he did that as well as
admining them. Sounds like you spewed troll bait, Erich and I fell for it.

I know what "wire-wrapping" means, but I was a little stumped with
"big-iron". I think you mean IBM mainframes, but you only mention Univac.
Did you migrate your (COBOL?) applications to PC's ? My guess is that
there's quite a bit of competition for this sort of software.
Have you ever looked at GnuCash?
