As mentioned at the last coffee night...
*TONIGHT* Feb 1st, 2006
5:30pm ECE208 [Electrical and Computer Engineering Bld, between Civil
Engineering Bld. and Harvill Bld.; on campus]
For those that weren't at the coffee night:
HACKS [Hardware and Computer Knowledge Society] is a UA student club
[community members, faculty, staff welcome as well] whose purpose is to
provide access to hardware and software resources to expand their
knowledge of computing, networking, et al.
Ever want to:
-Play [READ: develop/experiment/benchmark] on a cluster?
-Run a *-server in production use?
-Develop and test network applications with IPv6 and/or I2?
-Experiment with web technologies on a server you control?
-Anything else within reason?
Do it in a friendly environment, with university resources [also within
reason...] at HACKS.
Full disclosure: There will likely not be many members in attendance...
Sadly we have more resources than warm bodies [Can you believe that
people actually leave Tucson?]. If you are interested please stop by.
Cheers,
Shawn
