[Tfug] OT - Telemarketing calls with fraudulent caller ID

A bit off-topic here... but as TFUG is always a great place to find people 
with diverse background skills.

Has anybody been getting pre-record spanish telemarketing calls from 
fraudulent numbers as of recent? Apparently it is a "you have won a free 
camera" scam of some sort. I have received a number of these in the last 
month, to my cell phone, and just got another, again with a fraudlent CID 
number 231-491-8895. Previous numbers have included 303-720-1234, 
240-861-9988, and 323-483-6532, all fraudulent of course.

My provider, T-Mobile, basically said they couldn't do anything but change my 
phone number, but I kind of expected that. Anybody have a good track with 
somebody in telecom that could start a report or prod a fed into 
investigating? A month ago there was nothing on these calls, now there is a 
bit in Google. Lots to people on the DNC, all from fraudulent numbers.
