FWIW,
My apt-get sources is set to:
deb http://mirror.espri.arizona.edu/debian unstable contrib
non-free main
and I have currently installed:
libc6.1 2.3.5-3
I had all manner of weird stuff happening to my system, and during
my searches I noted that the kernel I was working with was too old. I have
now upgraded my system with a custom kernel:
Linux sage 2.4.27.111505 #1 Tue Nov 15 23:15:01 MST 2005 alpha GNU/Linux
