I've used quite a few helpdesks and I really like One Or Zero Helpdesk,
http://helpdesk.oneorzero.com. LAMP/GPL with support for a $35 donation.
The other one we are using is called Trio,
http://www.activecampaign.com/supporttrio/. It's LAMP, and quite
featureful but not F/free.
