Well, the installs failed differently with each distro. I am reaching
the point where I think the HD might be bad and am going to take a look
at Fedora once I can free up a spare drive to test with.

Yeah, I realize it is probably a bit low-end to save/encode the video,
but I'm going to see what it can do. If nothing else, it'll still be a
file server that can watch TV (and the other boxes can stream their
video off of it), or something ;)
