[Tfug] New Graphics Card, New Kernel, Question

Hey Guys,

I impulse purchased an ASUS Radeon 9250 graphics card from TigerDirect; 
was it a mistake? I'm running Debian 2.4 Woody and want to switch to 
Sarge 2.6; what graphics cards do you think I should get and from where, 
or do you think the 9250 will work okay; I saw problems on the web, but 
who knows for sure.

I've got a gig of RAM; 300 Watt Power suppply, AMD Athlon, AGP, blah 
blah blah

Is it really true that it's hot in Tucson?  I don't believe it because 
when I used to live there it only got up to about 125F or so; global 
heating, combustion, what is it?? Arizona: the Heat State.
