I've used them before as well, but I don;t like the idea of carrying around 
yet another cable and I've had a couple problems before where the dongles do 
not provide enough power, lockup, or mysteriously die... As it is, I already 
carry around 5ft null and straight cables, a 10' extension cable, 9-25 
adapters, gender benders, breakouts, etc... Seems like just another thing to 
pack and lose. Though the AMD laptop is appealling.
