I face this issue every day, supporting Oracle. For us we do not
support Oracle on Fedora. But what does support mean? For me I see
three levels. Certified, Supported, Works.
Certified: It is supported and has been verified to work
Supported: Assistance will be provided to make work as documented.
Works: Customer is on their own to make work.
So as to the compiler working on Fedora, most likely it will, but any
issues you may be on your own.
