Well, if you don't yet have a BS. degree, I am going to recommend not
taking CS at Pima. Not because the courses are poor. Rather, if you get
your General Education credits at Pima (See AGEC-S program description),
you can start the U as a Junior and have all your general ed. out of the
way. This gives you the ability to concentrate and focus on CS, or ECE
studies exclusively. That is my best suggestion for getting the CS degree.

The greatest reason for taking CS classes at pima is if you are not
intending to transfer to the U or if you are looking for immediate
training without a certificate. One reason for this is most CS courses
at Pima don't transfer to the U. Another is, even if the credits did
transfer, the CS for transfer program at Pima doesn't nearly give you
the classes you would want to take that are interesting.

I say this emphatically because I don't want anyone to make the same
mistakes as I. I changed majors and colleges many times and I have about
200 credits and no degree to show for it. I've been in colleges and
universities for nearly a decade and I feel sick just looking back on
it. Louis Taber really turned me around.
