[Tfug] Dual booting w/ Raid 0

On the TCS machine, Mandrake Linux installed the boot loader on the IDE
drive (a local storage drive) rather than on the Raid drive (removeable
Linux hard drive). I haven't taken the time to research it much, but it
worked fine to leave Lilo on the IDE drive though it did call for an
adjustment to the BIOS settings (we've since begun using a boot floppy
to avoid confusion for other TCS groups that use a Windows XP drive in
the removeable bay).
+ I'm probably responding to some of what was said below:

. Got a question about dual booting. Here goes:
.
. I have WinXP on 2x60Gb drives, Raid 0. I have one additional 20Gb disk I'd
. like to put Linux on. Now from what I've been reading it appears I might
. destroy my WinXP setup if I do a normal install and put the boot loader on
. the mbr of the Raid.
.
. If this is correct then how do I go about installing and using both OS's.
. Thanks.
.
. Jon
