[Tfug] Alternate meeting locations

Hello listmembers-

A while back John Morrow posted his wish that an alternate meeting site
be developed.  I think he'd like to attend meetings as a mere member
from time to time :) . Since Adrian's pool patio won't be ready until
summer '05 at the earliest, I thought I'd resurrect this issue.

Reading the follow up posts to his request (and reviewing the difficulty
we had trying to put together a site for an install-fest) it is clear
that no one had an adequate solution.  In that I mean: no one had a
space large enough, with adequate power and bandwidth.  It seemed some
of us could offer one or two requisites but not all three.

So maybe this will help.  I've been given permission by my employer
(Broadband Laboratories) to provide wireless broadband during
meetings.  IF we can find meeting space that 'qualifies'.  In order to
'qualify' we need to be within 3-5 miles of and have line of sight to
either the 5151 E. Broadway building or the AM radio tower @ 1st and
Grant.  If the building has easy access to the roof or a balcony facing
the right direction that's even better.
