I am the "normal" instructor for CIS 225 Linux Networking on Friday
nights at Pima West. I also tend to teach the new CIS 226 (was 298-T2
for a while) Advanced Linux Networking on Saturday afternoons.
The prereq for CIS225 is CIS137 and/or good command line
comfortability. If you have never worked with a command line
environment, I would strongly suggest CIS 137 first, if you have worked
in DOS/Unix before, you can probably handle CIS 225, and take 137 at a
later time (it's a great course, and you will get a lot out of it. Heck
taking it twice, once with L. Taber and once with myself is not a bad
idea).
I have only done CIS137 in summer session, and I don't know exactly what
I am doing this summer.
