Yeppers, that should be bootable.  Do you have a Solaris CD that you can test and make sure?  The other option is to boot off of floppy and install via CD.

If you would like, I have Solaris CDs and Linux (RedHat and Debian) that you are welcome to try.  E-mail me off list and we can figure something out.
