Before I answer your question....

1) Are you the only person who's going to use this 486 box?
2) Are you using at home on your own LAN, or publically?
3) Do you wear a tinfoil hat, and wait eagerly for other people with tinfoil
hats to tell you to adjust YOUR tinfoil hat?

Depending on how you answer the two questions, it can be very simple or
somewhat involved.

Shame on you for running Debian, by the way. Everyone knows Debian licks
sack.
