He's mostly passionate about getting attention.

And as you have read many have missed anything he has to offer because
his posts get trashed because of his rudeness.

It's certainly not just Keith. There is no need to behave as Bowie does
to receive his information. Behavior such as his comes from a lack of
self esteem which he compensates for by acting like the bad little boy
that he effectively is just to get the attention he gets. Even though
most of us are experienced enough to ignore his garbage doesn't excuse
his actions.
No matter how much he knows that information can be gotten somewhere else.
