A big problem with DDoS attacks is that, even though you can drop all
of the packets (in this case), the traffic still clogs your relatively
slow network connection.  Often times, the only solution is to have
the bad traffic blocked at your upstream provider.  Hopefully you aren't
getting hit that hard.
