Yeah. Just keep on thinking that. When you steal bandwidth to take services 
and files originating from another state, the Feds get involved. Then, the 
Feds get your MAC address from the owner of the system you accessed without 
authorization. (complainant) Armed with court order, they take all your 
electronic equipment and you hire a lawyer.

But wait a minute. You could tell ifconfig to supply a fake MAC address. 
Yeah but if you do that, it does not sound like the intent of an honest 
person.

Would Jesus change his MAC address? No.
