[Tfug] 802.11b Linux Access Point with Cisco 342 PCMCIA

Hello TFUG,

  I recently got a Cisco 342 PCMCIA adapter for my Latitude laptop and
  have it working in client mode just fine under RedHat 8.0.  I have
  been thinking about turning this into an Access Point for my home
  network and would like to know if there are any good HowTos around.
  The info I have found says the Cisco is a Prism2 card, but not
  compatible with host_ap.  Are there any others that this card will
  work with?  Can anyone recommend a good card to use for this
  purpose?
