You will need to know which Com Port your modem is connected to complete the installation.Log onto computer as Root.
Start X Windows
. The Control Panel should appear on the desktop. If not, click on the desktop and navigate to Programs/Administration/Control Panel.
Click Control Panel.
In the Control Panel click the sixth button from the top showing a phone and monitor. It's called "Modem Configuaration" when you point to it.
Follow the simple configuration instructions in the windows which appears. Have the com port information handy.
